I do my best to make sure every candle arrives to its new home as quickly as possible. Typically, all orders will be processed and shipped within 2-5 business days (these do not include weekends and holidays). Larger orders may take longer, as I do not always keep a large quantity of every scent in stock. But if your order will take significantly longer than 2-5 business days to ship, I will do my best to notify you as soon as possible. 

Orders are typically shipped via USPS Priority Mail and transit time is typically 1 - 3 business days once it's in the possession of USPS. You will receive an email with tracking information once your package has shipped. Please use the tracking information to track your package. If you have a concern about lost candles or delivery confusion, please first contact USPS as sometimes packages are just delayed or misplaced. If they have not provided a resolution, please email and I will look into it further.

Please ensure that the shipping address you provide during checkout can receive USPS packages. If your package is returned to sender because USPS could not successfully deliver it, please contact me. I'm happy to resend it to you for an additional shipping cost or refund you less the cost of shipping. 

If you are a Hoboken local, I am happy to offer a pick-up option. Simply let me know in a note during checkout that you'd like to arrange pick-up, and I'll refund you the shipping charge and work with you to schedule a pick-up time. 

Returns and exchanges

Buying candles online can be tricky, and I understand that. It is important to me that you are satisfied with your purchase, so if you are not entirely happy with your Riles and Co., candle please contact and we can work together on forming a resolution. 

Candles are packaged very carefully and shipped to ensure no damage. However, if you receive a broken candle, please email with a clear photo of the damage, and a replacement candle will be sent out to you right away free of charge.
